Wing Nuts
The Very Early Quicksilvers were assembled whereby the plane would be taken apart for transportation. Hence the use of Wing Nuts. In today’s Kits very few if any Wing Nuts are used. Substituting a wingnut with a conventional Nyloc is very common.
